Redskins Cuts 2012: Redskins Reduce Active Roster To 75 Players

The Washington Redskins had to trim their roster down to 75 players before Monday's deadline hit. The team released nine players earlier in the day, although the full round of cuts was not announced until moments ago. Here are the latest Redskins to be waived by coach Mike Shanahan and the coaching staff.

OL Chris Campbell
RB Lennon Creer
QB Jonathan Crompton
WR Sam Kirkland
WR Lance Lewis (Waived-Injured)
LB Monte Lewis
G Nick Martinez
TE Beau Reliford
CB Morgan Trent (Waived with Injury Settlement)

Placekicker Neil Rackers was released, along with offensive linemen James Lee and Tony Moll.

The team has also traded cornerback Kevin Barnes to the Detroit Lions for a conditional draft pick. Offensive tackle Jammal Brown was placed on the Reserve Physically Unable to Perform list to make room on the roster.

Washington has until 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 1 to trim its roster to 53 players.
