Redskins Vs. Bills: Tim Hightower, Anthony Armstrong To Miss Thursday's Game

The Washington Redskins are inching closer to their first preseason game of the season, so what is the status of players that are currently injured? Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced that several players, including running back Tim Hightower and wide receiver Anthony Armstrong will be out for Thursdays game.

The other players include fullback Darrel Young and guard Kory Lichtensteiger. At the running back position, Evan Royster will get the start for the Redskins.

Among other players that have not had their status decided upon yet, guard Chris Chester has been dealing with his ankle issues recently. Head coach Shanahan said that his ankle is swollen and that his status is most likely doubtful.

Wide receiver Josh Morgan is also trying to return for Thursday's game, but he is still questionable at this point. Shanahan also updated the press on the status of offensive tackle Jammal Brown, dealing with his hip injury. Shanahan has said that while he has not started running again, he feels a lot better than he has felt.

The Redskins play the Bills on Thursday night with kick off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
