Adam Carriker Injury: Redskins Defensive Lineman Goes Down Early In Sunday's Contest

Washington Redskins defensive lineman Adam Carriker has gone down early in the team's matchup with the St. Louis Rams with what appears to be a right knee injury. While engaged with a St. Louis offensive lineman, Carriker's knee was rolled up on. He was helped off the field, putting very little weight on the knee.

Carriker was a first round pick by St. Louis in the 2007 NFL Draft, and was traded to the Redskins in April of 2010. Carriker started 15 games for Washington last season, recording 5.5 sacks on the year.

Washington leads the game 7-0, after scoring a defensive touchdown on the Rams' first offensive play of the game.
