NFL 2012 Schedule Week 3: Redskins, NFC East In Action In Key Weekend

The surprising Washington Redskins welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to the nation's capital in a key afternoon matchup in Week 3.

The Redskins are coming off a tough loss to the St. Louis Rams where they were still able to impress, putting up 28 points behind quarterback Robert Griffin III two rushing touchdowns and 206 passing yards.

The Bengals are fresh off their first win of the season, as they topped the Cleveland Browns 34-27 in Week 2 behind quarterback Andy Dalton's three touchdown passes.

Some other key NFC East action to keep an eye on this weekend:

New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers, Sept. 20, 8:20 p.m.

The Giants will have to recover quickly from a nail-bitting victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Panthers. Carolina captured its first win by beating the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys, Sept. 23, 1 p.m.

The Bucs will get another shot at topping an NFC East squad when they visit the Cowboys in Dallas. The Cowboys are coming off a dissapointing 27-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals, Sept. 23, 4:05 p.m.

The Eagles, after beating the Baltimore Ravens 24-23, face off against similarly 2-0 Arizona, which stunned the New England Patriots, 20-18, in Week 2.
