Bengals Vs. Redskins: Mike Shanahan Says Pierre Garcon's 'Nagging' Foot Injury Has Kept Him Limited

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon was limited in practice on Thursday due to a nagging foot injury, according to head coach Mike Shanahan. Garcon sustained the injury in the team's Week 1 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Shanahan said that the area is still sore and that it has lingered longer than he initially thought it would.

Garcon recorded four receptions against the Saints totaling a game-high 109 receiving yards, including the 88-yard touchdown where he sustained the foot injury. He was unable to play against the St. Louis Rams in Week 2.

In addition to Garcon, safety Brandon Meriweather and cornerback Josh Wilson were also limited in practice on Thursday. All three players were limited in practice on Wednesday as well.
