Lorenzo Alexander, Josh Morgan Fined For Incidents Vs. Rams

The NFL has announced a bevy of fines handed out for last Sunday's game between the Washington Redskins and St. Louis Rams, which the Rams eventually won 31-28.

According to Rich Campbell of of The Washington Times, five players total between the two teams were punished, resulting in a least $55,000 in fines.

Rams CB Janoris Jenkins was fined $15,570 for unnecessary roughness for this hit against Redskins TE Fred Davis, who was ruled to be a defenseless receiver on the hit. Jenkins was not penalized for the the hit.

Meanwhile, Redskins receiver Josh Morgan was fined $7,875 for unsportsmanlike conduct, when he threw a ball at Rams cornerback Cortland Finnegan after the play.

Redskins LB Lorenzo Alexander ($15,750 for an horse collar tackle), Rams DE Robert Quinn ($7,875 for striking an opponent in the head), and Rams G Quinn Ojinaka ($7875 for striking an opponent late) were also fined for the game.
