Redskins Vs. Saints Injury Report: Chris Baker Participates Fully In Practice

Washington Redskins nose tackle Chris Baker participated fully in practice on Thursday ahead of the season opener against the New Orleans Saints. The 6'2'', 333-pound Baker left the Redskins' preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on Aug. 25 after suffering an injury to his ankle.

Baker was signed to the Redskins' active roster on Dec. 6, 2011 and did not appear in a game for Washington last season. The second-year player out of Hampton has recorded six career tackles in two games.

Safety Josh Wilson and guard Kory Lichtensteiger also participated fully in practice today and neither saw any setbacks, according to head coach Mike Shanahan.

The Redskins kickoff their 2012 schedule with a visit to the Saints in the Superdome. Washington is looking to bounce back from a 5-11 season.
