Pierre Garcon Injures Right Foot, Questionable To Return

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon left Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints with a right foot injury. His return is questionable as the game reached halftime.

Garcon caught four passes before leaving the game, including an 88-yard catch-and-run touchdown from rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III in the first quarter to give Washington a 10-7 lead. Garcon also caught three passes from Griffin on the Redskins' opening drive that resulted in a field goal.

Garcon was Griffin's target early, but left the game in the first quarter temporarily due to an injury before returning for long enough to catch his touchdown. He apparently injured the foot on the touchdown play.

Garcon was one of the Indianapolis Colts' top receivers the past three years before joining the Redskins. He had 70, 67 and 47 catches in 2011, 2010 and 2009 with Peyton Manningthrowing to him for two of those years. Garcon played in all 16 regular-season games for the Colts a year ago.
