One of the most amusing things about Gilbert Arenas is the way he gets people so mad that they suspend a lot of their rationality to talk about him. This isn't to defend Arenas, of course, but it's just a funny/sad byproduct of the way he is. People can't help but respond emotionally one way or the other when he does something wacky.
↵But here's something new: Arenas making a talking head so mad that he forgets or doesn't know one of his teammates. If you believe ESPN's Skip Bayless, you'd think Arenas faked an injury to give a San Diego Padres pitcher a chance to shine, not a fourth-year NBA youngster.

Faking an injury to give a 6'10'' baseball player a chance to switch sports? Now THAT would be a real example of Gilbertology.
