If you're wondering what really is going on with Gilbert Arenas' latest injury, join the club. Maybe he's really suffering from a sore ankle. Maybe he's pouting because he doesn't like something. Maybe he really wants to give Al Thornton a chance to play. Maybe he's on his way to another team. Who knows anymore.
↵We do know this, though: Arenas is kind of sort of helping out the team, in some small, tangible way. After practice today, Andray Blatche told reporters that he and Arenas have created a special sprint that every player must do if they make any sort of negative gesture about a certain play. The idea is to prepare the team for the technical foul crackdown occurring league-wide. Via Joseph White of the AP:
↵↵↵↵↵Blatche said he & Arenas made a rule: "You do any kind of hand gestures then you have to do a 17." What's a 17, you ask? It's 17 sprints from sideline to sideline in under a minute ... Can't do the 17 in a minute? You have to do it again.

↵See, look. Arenas really is a good teammate.
