Daniel Orton was part of the mass Freshman exodus that included Demarcus Cousins, Eric Bledoe and our very own John Wall. He spent an entire year practicing against him and apparently they remain friends off the court. You'd think that we would be hearing stories about the "inside information" Orton has on Wall similar to those we heard about the Texans and Kyle Shanahan, but that isn't the case.
↵According to Zach McCann of the Orlando Sentinel that isn't because Orton doesn't know how to stop Wall, it's because he refuses to tell them.
↵↵↵Orton knows Wall — and Wall’s game — very well. So has the Orlando rookie given his teammates any tips or tricks on containing Wall?
↵"They haven’t asked," Orton said. "Unless they ask, I’m not going to tell them anything. I do know certain things, like little niches he does and stuff like that."

What a good way to endear yourself to your new coaches and teammates. Is Orton really playing the, "well, you never asked," card here? I haven't seen that move since the playground. And it's not like Orton will be able to use the information he has against Wall himself, I can't imagine he gets off the bench tonight. I guess that's good news for Wall and the Wizards.
