VIDEO: Andray Blatche Has His Albert Haynesworth Moment (Now With A Poll)

New, 3 comments

The Washington Wizards were going to lose to the Boston Celtics regardless of how hard they played last night. That said, they could have avoided a blowout if they, you know, tried. Afterwards, Flip Saunders had this to say about his team's performance.

"It was like men playing against boys tonight."

As with any bad performance, there is one player or one play that sums it all up. For the Redskins, it was Albert Haynesworth falling on the ground and staying there. For the Wizards, it was Andray Blatche kind of standing around, letting Rajon Rondo waltz down the lane. Zach Lowe of Sports Illustrated has video, and it's probably worse than the Haynesworth situation.

Wow. Wonder if Blatche will also claim that he was pulled down by his teammate? Or maybe he had a Charley Horse? Or maybe Blatche will always be a Boston Celtic at heart? Who knows. Either way, Bullets Forever calls for Blatche to be benched. After stuff like this, it's hard to disagree.

UPDATE: Alright, so there's been some disagreement about whether this is worse than the Haynesworth situation, so we're going to let you all decide.
