WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As it turns out, the world will have to wait at least one more game to see John Wall again. Wizards coach Flip Saunders said Wall will not play against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.
Saunders said the Wizards are hoping he will be ready to practice tomorrow, at which point he might play against Detroit.
"Tomorrow, we're hoping to get him some stuff done, some shooting and some things like that, so he's at least getting into a rhythm," he said.
Saunders said Wall has been good to go in the morning every day he's been hurt, but has felt worse as the game went along.
"Every day, we've walked into the office, I have, with the idea that he was going to be able to go. We'll have to keep on waiting and see,"
Saunders did say, however, that Wall was "improving."
