Grizzlies Vs. Wizards: Memphis Leads 45-43 After Uneven First Half

We've played one half here in Washington D.C., and the Memphis Grizzlies lead the Washington Wizards 45-43. This certainly hasn't been the best-played half of all time, as evidenced by the 19 combined turnovers by the two teams. Nevertheless, it is close as of right now.

Gilbert Arenas leads all scorers with 13 points on 4-7 shooting, but he had a couple awkward plays near the end of the half. On one play, he passed up a wide open fast break layup to pass back to JaVale McGee, who fumbled the pass. On another play, he pulled up for a contested three-pointer and airballed it. Still, he is the game's leading scorer.

Zach Randolph is leading Memphis with nine points, despite looking disinterested most of the game. Marc Gasol has eight points, and Mike Conley has seven. JaVale McGee has eight points and seven rebounds for the Wizards, though five of those rebounds were offensive boards.
