Wizards Vs. Heat: Washington Looks To Extend Miami's Woes

The Miami Heat come into tonight's game against the Washington Wizards in total disarray. They are just 9-8 on the season, a massive disappointment. They are beginning to point fingers, mostly at head coach Erik Spoelstra. Now, they have to take on the young exciting Washington Wizards.

Okay, I was just making sure you were paying attention. Still, the Wizards have a chance to get a really satisfying first road win of the season tonight. The Heat are struggling and coming apart at the seams. The Wizards have a chance, at least, to deliver a bit of a knockout punch.

Unfortunately for the Wizards, they won't have a full crew of players to do it. John Wall is unlikely to play with his foot injury, and it's possible JaVale McGee won't go either due to a back injury that's gotten worse since Elton Brand shoved him in Tuesday's win over Philadelphia. Those two potentially join an already long list of injured Wizards that includes starting small forward Al Thornton and backup forward Yi Jianlian. Making matters worse, the Heat are weak at point guard and center, which could have been exploited by Wall and McGee.

Alas, Gilbert Arenas will have to turn back the clock once again to give the Wizards a shot. He was outstanding against the Magic on Saturday night, and will have to be again.
