Pacers Vs. Wizards: Game Is Knotted Up 44-44 At Halftime

We've got an incredible even contest underway tonight at the Verizon Center. 24 minutes have passed and the two teams remain level as the score at the midway whistle is tied 44-44. Neither team has been able to take control for any significant stretch of time. The game was even tied 19-19 at the end of the third quarter.

As could have been expected, Danny Grainger is leading all scorers with 12 points. The Pacers' top forward is 6-14 shooting, and has had his way with the Wizards defenders for most of the contest.

JaVale McGee and Andray Blatche have both been dominant though on the glass thus far. Each player has seven rebounds. Blatche has contributed 10 points to lead all Wizards players, while McGee added nine points, including five from the free-throw line.

John Wall started tonight's game on the bench once again, but is working his way back towards full health. Wall has played more minutes than any other bench player so far tonight, and has six first half points, including a three-point score on his only attempt from behind the arc.

It's tough to predict with so much basketball still left to be played, but one could imagine that it could take overtime to settle this one.
