Wizards Preseason Schedule 2011: Washington Plays Home-And-Home With Philadelphia In Condensed Preseason

With free agency and training camp officially underway this weekend, the Wizards will soon be back on the floor to open their exhibition season next weekend. As with everything else in this frenetic NBA year, the preseason schedule will be condensed into just two games against the Philadelphia 76ers before the season tips off Christmas weekend.

The 76ers will come to the Verizon Center next Friday, December 16th to open the preseason. Just four days later, the Wizards make the short trip up Interstate 95 for the second game of the home-and-home series at Wells Fargo Center. The Sixers are fresh off of re-signing small forward Thaddeus Young on Friday, and look to improve upon their surprising playoff run last season in Doug Collins first year as head coach.

Wizards Preseason Schedule

Friday, December 16th, 7:00 PM: 76ers at Wizards

Tuesday, December 20th, 7:00 PM: Wizards at 76ers
