Nets Vs. Wizards Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Washington Wizards get back to the hardwood tonight, opening their 2011-2012 season at home against the New Jersey Nets. The game starts at 7:00 p.m. Eastern at the Verizon Center in downtown Washington, DC. Fans not planning to make out to the game can watch from the comfort of their own homes, sports bars, friends houses, etc. as the game will be broadcast locally on Comcast Sports Network. Fans out of the area can see it on NBA League Pass.

Washington is looking to erase an 0-2 preseason and get on the right side of .500 for the first time since the 2007-2008 season. For that, the franchise will lean heavily on point guard John Wall, the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

Wall enters the current season a little wiser and ready to lead. Last year, the losing took a toll, forcing Wall to call out his teammates in public. Tom Ziller at SB Nation picked Washington to finished fourth in the Southeast. Can Wall lead his team beyond that?
