Wizards Vs. Hawks: Washington Looks To Bounce Back In Atlanta

The Washington Wizards will look to bounce back from Monday's loss when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on the road.

The Washington Wizards' season opener did not go as planned on Monday, as they blew a 21-point lead in a 90-84 home loss to the New Jersey Nets. They hope their second game will go better, as they travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The Hawks are coming off a 106-70 blowout victory over the same Nets team that defeated the Wizards on Monday. Five players scored in double figures, including Vladimir Radmanovic, who scored a team-high 17 points off the bench. The Hawks broke the game open in the first quarter and easily put away a tired Nets team.

Atlanta is coming off a 45-37 season and a second-round playoff appearance. They defeated the Orlando Magic, 4-2, in the first round before falling in six games to the Chicago Bulls.
