The adjusted 2011/12 Washington Wizards schedule will be unveiled officially on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., along with the rest of the NBA schedule. The announcement will take place live on NBATV at that time, and it will be a far different schedule than the one the league came up with before the NBA lockout ended.
Bits and pieces of the Wizards' schedule continue to trickle out. For example, the Wizards will play the Phoenix Suns on the road on February 20, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic. The Wizards will not be hosting the Suns at any point this year. The most likely start date will be Monday, December 26, but the Wizards could also begin play the next day.
We will find out the answer for sure on Tuesday night when the full schedule is unveiled. The Wizards will play 66 games this year in the modified schedule.
