Josh Howard hasn't been a big part of the Wizards since coming over from the Mavericks a few years ago, and now it looks like he will move on before we had an opportunity to really get to know him. According to Marc Spears of Yahoo, Josh Howard is looking at a number of different free agent destinations, and none of them are the Wizards.
Washington Wizards free-agent forward Josh Howard would like to join center Nene if he signs with the Denver Nuggets or New Jersey Nets, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
If Howard can’t join Nene, the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz and New Orleans Hornets have expressed interest in him. Howard visited with Wizards coach Flip Saunders at the team’s training facility Wednesday, but is not expected to re-sign with Washington.
It's odd that Howard really wants to play with Nene considering they've never played on the same team, but to each his own. Howard only appeared in 18 games for the Wizards last year averaging 8.4 points per contest.
