In promotion of the NBA All-Star Game skills competition, the Washington Wizards hosted a media skills competition and trampoline dunk contest today featuring 20 members of the local sports media, including Dan Hellie of NBC Washington, Lindsay Murphy of FOX-5, and Ivan Carter of Comcast SportsNet..
↵The skills competition included dribbling around cones, making a short jump shot or lay up, completing a bounce pass, and then finally shooting a t-shirt out of a gun, a skill that is critical to the success of any NBA player.
↵The media members would also compete in a dunk contest, which was judged by John Wall and JaVale McGee. The winner of the dunk contest by a wide margin was Big Tigger, the WPGC radio personality and resident DJ at Verizon Center.
