Wizards Vs. Trail Blazers: Washington Starts Five-Game With 111-76

Hopefully, this loss will not set the tone for the Wizards five-game West Coast road trip because it was ugly. Gerald Wallace had 28 Pts eight rebounds, and three assists as the Trail Blazers ran over the Wizards by a score of 11-76.

Jordan Crawford and Kevin Seraphin were the only two Wizards in double figures -- Portland had three players with 20+ points. The Wizards turned the ball over a season-high 27 times and shot just 37 percent from the field when they did manage to end a possession with a field goal attempt. They were out-rebounded by 13 and barely shared the basketball -- with just 15 assists compared to 26 for Portland.

Yup, this one was ugly.

There really isn't a whole lot to say. The Yahoo! Sports' box score lists John Wall as the best performer for the Wizards. His final line? Nine points on 3-for-12 shooting to go with seven assists and three rebounds. Wall had just one point in the second half and he missed both of his shots after the break.

The Wizards have a quick turnaround with a game Wednesday against the Clippers. Nick Young could see action in that one, which would give Washington some much needed scoring punch, not to mention another body to use in the rotation.
