Wizards Vs. Clippers: John Wall, Young Wizards Succumb 127-119 In Double-Overtime

Man, what a game. The young Wizards had this one, which hurts. In the end, Washington fell to the Clippers 127-119 in double-overtime in Los Angeles.

The dagger came when Randy Foye -- the former Wizard -- hit a three to put the Clippers up six with 45 seconds left after Jamario Moon corralled an offensive rebound to keep their possession alive. But the tide turned at the end of the first overtime, when John Wall missed a free throw with a chance to ice the game. Instead, the miss left the Clippers trailing by three points -- and Eric Gordon hit a game-tying triple with one second left.

Once again the Wizards were without Nick Young, Andray Blatche, Josh Howard and Rashard Lewis. The young Wizards responded. John Wall scored a career-high 32 points, 10 assists and five rebounds. Jordan Crawford turned in 25 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. JaVale turned in 22 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. All three played more than 50 minutes.
