VIDEO: Eric Gordon's Game-Tying Three Pointer Against The Wizards

The Wizards very nearly got a win on the road last night, but Eric Gordon and the Clippers stole it away at the last second. With the Wizards up three in the final seconds of the game, Eric Gordon got the ball on the left wing, pump faked JaVale McGee out of the way, and then drilled a game-tying shot to send the game to overtime. Take a gander.

The Clippers would ultimately win the game 127-119 in double overtime, but the Wizards could have had it if they were just able to stop that shot.

As for the shot itself, I don't think anyone is surprised at how effective the pump fake was against JaVale McGee. Even though he has about a nine inch size advantage on Gordon and could have blocked his shot easily while flat-footed, he bit hard on the pump fake. Gotta get them blocks, JaVale.
