Washington Wizards Injuries: Nick Young Re-Aggravates Knee Injury In Loss To Warriors

Nick Young just returned to the Wizards' lineup on Friday after missing five games with a bruised knee, and now, it appears that he is already heading back to the sideline. According to Dave Johnson at CSN Washington, Nick Young re-aggravated his knee injury early in the second quarter of the Wizards' loss to the Warriors last night.

Already dealing with injuries to three key players, the Wizards were dealt another setback when Trevor Booker was unable to start because of a sore right foot. Nick Young, who had just returned to lineup Friday after a five game absence, started in place of Booker.

Young had scored 31 points in a previous meeting against the Warriors and with 7 points helped the Wizards to a 36-35 lead at the end of the first quarter. Just a little over a minute into the second quarter Young was headed to the locker room after reinjuring his bruised left knee.

With nothing of substance to play for, the Wizards shouldn't be in any hurry to rush Nick Young back into the lineup and risk further injury.
