Cavaliers Vs. Wizards: Washington Nips Cleveland Without John Wall

What the Blatche?! Andray Blatche went off on Friday, leading Washington with 36 points as the Wizards dispatched the Cavaliers by a score of 115-107 at the Verizon Center.

Stepping into the starting lineup for the first time since injuring his shoulder against Milwaukee on March 8, Blatche took charge of the offensive, taking 34 percent of the Wizards shots. Most incredibly, he pulled down 16 of his 19 rebounds on the offensive end. The virtuoso performance help the Wizards survived despite the absence of John Wall, who served a one-game suspension for punching Heat center Zydrunas Illgauskas in a loss Wednesday to Miami.

JaVale McGee scored 25 points on a hyper-efficient 11-of-15 shooting, and blocked three shots to boot. Jordan Crawford scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half as the Wizards rallied from a five-point halftime possession.

The Wizards also got it done against the Cavs on the defensive end, especially defending the perimeter where Cleveland managed to shoot a paltry 5-for-22.

Next up is a road game at Charlotte on Sunday.
