For just the third time this season, the Washington Wizards have secured a victory on the road. Their 97-91 win over the Charlotte Bobcats Sunday night moved them into a tie with the Toronto Rapids for 13th in the Eastern Conference.
Jordan Crawford once again had an electric fourth quarter, finishing the game with 23 points. Andray Blatche also had yet another productive game, contributing 25 points and an impressive total of 17 rebounds. The Wizards bench had only five points on the night, but they didn't need it as the starters played the majority of minutes, and played them well. Washington dominated the glass, collecting 50 rebounds to Charlotte's 39.
John Wall contributed 18 points, five assists, and five rebounds for the Wizards.
D.J. Augustin had 21 points and seven assists in the losing effort for the Bobcats.
The Wizards return home to the Verizon Center on Tuesday night to face the Detroit Pistons.
