Wizards Vs. Pacers: Washington Struggling Mightily On The Road, Trail 75-56 At Half

With the Wizards having won their last two road games, it was possible to forget they had only won one previously all season. Wednesday night's game vs. the Pacers is a reminder. Washington trails the Indiana 75-56 at the half in Indy.

Once again, the score is 75-56 at the half. Indiana has scored 75 points. In the first half. The Pacers are on pace to score 150 points. THE PACERS ARE ON PACE TO SCORE 150 POINTS.

The Pacers average 99.36 points per game at home, good for 15th in the league. They are an average offense. This is pretty ugly. Let's look at the shooting stats. Indiana shot 60 percent from the field including a stupid 8-for-13 (61.5 percent) from three-point land. Five players are already in double figures, including four starters. Indiana has shared the ball well, with 15 assists. The Wizards have four. And on, and on ...

For Washington, Jordan Crawford and Andray Blatche have 20 points each. So that's good. Flip Saunders has been unhappy with the refs, and has a technical to show for it. Indy Star beat writer Mike Wells suggested on Twitter that Saunders pick up another so he can head to the locker room early. Yup, that about says it all.
