Enes Kanter Proclaims Desire To Play For Wizards, Blows Off Other Interviews

It's been a long time since an unsigned or not-drafted player has wanted to play for the Washington Wizards, so you can excuse fans for getting a little excited that Enes Kanter, the Kentucky big man ruled ineligible this year, wants to play with John WallHere's what Kanter told CSN Washington's Chris Miller on Thursday.

Enes Kanter just said he wants to play for the Wizards that's his first choice. Has a really good relationship with John Wall.

Very interesting. Now, there's a small problem: Kanter is a definite top-five pick at this point, and the Wizards picks sixth. This has already gotten the Wizards' draftnick fans excited about trading anything to move up and take him, even though he hasn't played in a real game in a year. But then again, this also happened, via Chris Littmann

↵↵Interesting, @ESPNAndyKatz said Enes Kanter "stood up" Toronto, Milwaukee, Utah for interviews. Guess he won't interview with them at all.

Utah has the third pick. Toronto has the fifth pick. So then, if Cleveland passes on Kanter at No. 4 ...
