NBA Mock Draft 2011: Draft Express Still Has Wizards Taking Enes Kanter

The guys over at Draft Express have come out with a new version of the 2011 NBA Mock Draft, and they still have the Wizards taking Enes Kanter with the sixth overall pick.

This would be the dream situation for the Wizards, but I don't really think it would happen. We know that Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams are going to go in the first two picks. But this situation would mean that the Jazz and Raptors both take point guards ahead of the Wizards, and the Cleveland Cavaliers would pass on Kanter with the fourth overall pick. At that point in the Draft, Kanter would be by far the best prospect on the board, and the Cavs are not in a position to do anything other than BPA.

But if it did play out this way, the Wizard would be thrilled. They already have some big men on the roster, but Kanter would be a much better prospect than any of them, and would be a good cornerstone to build around along with John Wall.
