VIDEO: Kevin Durant Stars In 2011 Goodman League Opener

↵

As we noted on Monday, Kevin Durant was in the house for the opener of the 2011 Goodman League on Monday night in Barry Farms in Southeast D.C.. The Oklahoma City Thunder star, who comes back at least once to play in the famous outdoor summer hoops league, certainly did well, pouring in 26 first-half points and 41 total. His team ultimately lost the game, 99-94, but it was impressive for Durant considering he hadn't even touched a basketball in a week. Of course, it wasn't as impressive as some of his other Goodman League performances, but we'll let it slide.

Durant wasn't the only local baller there. George Mason's Isaiah Tate also played, and Michael Beasley was potentially going to show, but didn't. Durant is apparently scheduled to play again on Tuesday night, in case you missed him the first time.
