Remember when we said JaVale McGee's most famous plank during his trip to the Philippines was in the Hong Kong Airport? We lied. In reality, his most hilarious plank happened on the court against the Philippines All-Stars, and it came after a crazy fast-break sequence.
↵First, McGee dribbled the ball coast-to-coast for a right-handed jam, in a play that Flip Saunders probably cringed to see. Then, as the PBA All-Stars brought the ball down the court, McGee came out of nowhere to swat the ball out of bounds. The crowd went crazy, so McGee decided to indulge them and just lay flat on the ground for an instant. He quickly got up with a huge grin on his face, the kind only McGee could have.
↵Back in the day, Bobby Orr used to say a hockey hat trick for him is a goal, an assist and a fight in the same game. Does that mean a JaVale McGee basketball hat trick is a dunk, a block and a plank?
