Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is going back to school during the NBA lockout, at least assuming the lockout actually lasts for a long time. Kentucky coach John Calipari announced that Wall, Rajon Rondo and Eric Bledsoe will all be enrolled at the university in the fall, which is good for them because they get to continue their education after all leaving early to go to the NBA.↵
Of course, it's also really good for Calipari. Via Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio.↵
What does that mean? Well, Wall, Bledsoe and Rondo are all eligible to be "Student Assistant coaches", which means practice with the team↵
It's pretty awesome for Kentucky players to be able to practice with those three guys. How many other programs can do that?↵
As for Wall, anything to get him more time playing with people close to his ability level is a good thing. Clearly, he's too good for summer leagues.
