The Washington Wizards have been ranked as the No. 30 overall team in the NBA, according to the power ranking polls at SB Nation, ESPN.com and NBA.com.
Washington lost games against the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz last week and have yet to register a win this season (they are the only team in the league without a win). Currently sitting in last place in the Southeast Division with an 0-8 record, the Wizards are 6.5 games back of the Miami Heat for first place in the division.
At SB Nation, curator Seth Rosenthal moved the team down one position from last week to last place. Rosenthal made note of head coach Randy Wittman's wild rotations and suggested that some continuity in the starting lineup may help the team find their stride.
At ESPN.com, Marc Stein also moved the team down one spot from last week and noted that the are only the second team in NBA history to start consecutive seasons with an 0-7 record. At NBA.com, John Schuhmann states that the Wizards may be able to capture their first win of the season against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.
