2012 NBA power rankings: Wizards in dead last

The Washington Wizards are the only winless team remaining in the NBA and are in last place in all power rankings across the web.

The Washington Wizards are struggling at the start of the season; they remain winless at 0-9 and are in last place in every NBA power ranking around the web. The Wizards have not had John Wall or Nene for a game yet this season and look lost without them.

In Seth Rosenthal's power rankings at SB Nation, the Wizards come in at No. 30 and it is the same everywhere else. Rosenthal takes issue with Randy Wittman's inconsistent rotations. At ESPN, Marc Stein notes that the Wizards' leading scorer (Jordan Crawford) is only averaging just over 12 points per game. At NBA.com, John Schuhmann mentions that the Wizards blew a 15-2 lead over the Jazz on Saturday. Kurt Helin at Pro Basketball Talk points out that the Wizards have now started 0-8 for the past two seasons. And at Fox Sports, Sam Amico sums up the season in Washington thus far, saying:

In fairness, John Wall and Nene haven't played a game. But fans are beginning to ask if anyone else on this team has, either.

The Wizards look for their first win with upcoming games against Atlanta, Charlotte, and San Antonio.
