The Washington Wizards are off to a horrendous start as they have dropped their first 10 games of the 2012-13 NBA season. They are the only winless team remaining in the league. The next lowest win total is Detroit with two, but they have played two more games than Washington.
The Miami Heat lead the Southeast Division with a 9-3 record, already eight games better than the Wizards. Miami is percentage points behind the New York Knicks, who lead the Eastern Conference with an 8-2 record.
Milwaukee leads the Central Division as the group's only team with a winning record. The Bucks are in a four-way tie with Charlotte, Brooklyn, and Atlanta for the third-best record in the East.
Memphis leads the Western Conference and is tied with the New York Knicks for the best record in the NBA. Oklahoma City and Los Angeles Clippers are the other division leaders out West. The Spurs are tied with the Thunder for the second-best record in the conference.
