2012 NBA schedule: Wizards return to action Saturday against second place Bobcats

The Washington Wizards continue to their quest for win number one Saturday against the Charlotte Bobcats. Friday, Jeremy Lin takes on his former team for the first when the Rockets host the Knicks.

The Washington Wizards have one more day off as they continue to get Nene back in to the swing of things before hosting the Charlotte Bobcats Saturday. Tip-off for that game is set for 7 p.m. ET. The Brazilian big man made his return Wednesday in the Wizards 101-100 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

While the Wizards have Black Friday free, there are 12 games on the NBA schedule, starting with the Bobcats playing host to the Atlanta Hawks. The two teams are tied for second place in the Southwest Division at 6-4, which you would consider a surprise since the Bobcats currently have one less win than they did all of last season. That game tips off at 7 p.m. ET

Friday's slate is also highlighted by the Los Angeles Clippers visiting Brooklyn for the first time to take on the Nets and the New York Knicks taking on former teammate Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets. It will be the first time Lin has faced his former team since signing with the Rockets last July.

In addition to the Wizards going for win number one, Saturday also features the Los Angeles Lakers and new head coach Mike D'Antoni visiting the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers, who remain winless on the road, will look to rebound from a Wednesday night loss in Sacramento.
