Jordan Crawford is dealing with a sprained ankle and missed practice on Monday as he continued to receive treatment. Crawford has led the Wizards in scoring the first week of the season and is not sure if he'll be able to play when his team takes the floor Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics.
Washington coach Randy Wittman spoke with the media following Monday's practice. Here is a video recap of what he had to say, courtesy of the good guys at Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
"Can't give you a yes or no," Wittman said. "It's got some swelling. It's a concern but its gotten a lot better from Saturday. He was in here all day with treatment, he'll be in here all day today, and we'll see where we are" on Tuesday.
As for Crawford, the medical staff will continue treating him in any way possible. It's likely that he will be a game-time decision on Wednesday night against the Celtics.
