The Washington Wizards have fallen in the majority of power ranking polls following an 0-2 start to the 2012-13 regular season. Following losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, the Wizards, who were already near the bottom of most lists, find themselves even closer to No. 30 overall.
At SB Nation, curator Seth Rosenthal dropped the team one spot from their preseason ranking to No. 29 overall and mentioned how terribly they've looked in the early goings of the campaign. In addition, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! and Marc Stein of ESPN also have the team ranked at No. 29 and mention rookie Bradley Beal's struggles to adapt to the NBA thus far.
Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk.com ranked the Wizards at No. 30, which was the lowest ranking of any other site. Noting the absence of Nene and John Wall, Helin acknowledges that the early season will be a struggle. NBA.com gave the Wizards the highest ranking this week, keeping the team at No. 28 overall.
