Wizards vs. Celtics: Jordan Crawford will play against Boston

Jordan Crawford won't miss any games after tweaking his ankle in the Washington Wizards' last game, as he'll be available Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics.

Jordan Crawford will be available for the Washington Wizards Wednesday night when they take on the Boston Celtics after the shooting guard was limited in practice all week.

Crawford sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter of the 89-86 loss to the Celtics on Saturday, forcing him out of a game in which he had rallied the team back from a major deficit early by leading the team with 21 points. He participated fully in the team's shootaround Wednesday morning and Randy Wittman decided he would be available off the bench.

The third-year player out of Xavier has come off the bench behind rookie Bradley Beal in each of the team's first two games, but has led the team in scoring in both games, averaging 16.0 points. Wittman insists he'll leave Beal in the lineup despite the fact that the rookie has struggled, scoring just 10 points on 13 shots so far this season. The team will need scoring from both young guards as they wait for the return of John Wall and Nene from injury.
