It's still early in the 2012-13 NBA season, but the Washington Wizards are not off to a good start. With Wednesday night's overtime loss to the Boston Celtics, Washington is 0-3 and in last place in the Eastern Conference's Southeastern Division.
Washington, which was led on Wednesday by a trio of players with 16 points (Bradley Beal, Kevin Seraphin and Martell Webster), sits behind the Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic and Charlotte Bobcats in the division.
The Heat are three games ahead of Washington and are in first place at 4-1.
Elsewhere around the east, the New York Knicks are 3-0 and in first place in the Atlantic Division, while the Chicago Bulls are 3-1 and sit atop the Central. Neither team played on Wednesday.
The Wizards will look to pick up their first win of the season on Friday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are 2-1, half a game behind the Bulls in the Central.
