The Washington Wizards will have two chances to notch their first win of the season this weekend, as they'll play host to the Milwaukee Bucks Friday night and hit the road to face the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
Washington took the Boston Celtics to overtime on Wednesday night before falling, 100-94, in the extra period. The Bucks come into Friday after suffering their first loss of the season, which came at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies in a 108-90 defeat Wednesday.
The Pacers, who are on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night, have lost two straight going into the weekend as they're struggling to score consistently with the absence of Danny Granger, who will be out for about three months with a knee injury.
Elsewhere on Friday, the undefeated New York Knicks host the Dallas Mavericks, while the Boston Celtics host the Philadelphia 76ers in a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference semifinals. Saturday features Boston in Milwaukee facing the Bucks and the Golden State Warriors hosting the Denver Nuggets in the nightcap.
On Sunday, the Atlanta Hawks are in Los Angeles to face the Clippers, while the Miami Heat take on the Grizzlies in Memphis.
