The Washington Wizards could not build off a stunning victory over the Miami Heat on Tuesday, losing two in a row over the weekend.

The Wizards fell 104-95 to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, as Josh Smith exploded for 23 points and 15 rebounds. With the loss, Washington remained winless on the road this season (0-8).

The next night, Washington dropped to 2-15 on the year after a 101-97 loss to the Golden State Warriors. David Lee, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson all scored over 20 points for the Warriors. Rookie Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 17 points.

Elsewhere in the Southeast Division, the Heat bounced back from two straight losses with a beat down of the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday. The Hawks followed up their victory over the Wizards with a huge win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Orlando Magic split two games, losing to the Sacramento Kings on Friday and beating the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. And finally, the Charlotte Bobcats lost to both the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs.
