2012 NBA standings: Wizards are 10.5 games back of Heat

After Wednesday's loss to the Houston Rockets, the Washington Wizards are now 10.5 games back of the Southeast Division-leading Miami Heat. Where do the rest of the teams in the division line up?

USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Wizards are currently 10.5 games behind the Miami Heat in the Southeast Division entering Thursday night's games. The Wizards have a 3-16 record this season and lost on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets 99-93. The next game coming up for the Wizards is Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Verizon Center.

As for the other teams in the Southeast Division, the Miami Heat still lead the division with a 14-6 record, but because of Wednesday's loss to the 97-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors, their lead has been cut to a half-game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks are 13-6, coming off an 86-80 win against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Their next game will be against the Charlotte Bobcats on Thursday at 7:30 p.m ET. The Magic are in third place, 8-13 and 6.5 games back of the Heat. Their next game will be against the Warriors on Friday at the Amway Center. In fourth place, the Bobcats are 7-14 and 7.5 games back of the Heat.
