NBA scores: Wizards fall to Rockets, 99-93

The Washington Wizards couldn't win consecutive games for the first time this season, falling to the Houston Rockets, 99-93.

The Washington Wizards still haven't won two games in a row after dropping a 99-93 decision to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. Rookie guard Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 20 points with six assists while forward Emeka Okafor scored 19 and guard Jordan Crawford scored 17 points. Despite that, Rockets guard James Harden led all scorers with 31 points.

In other Southeast Division action, the Miami Heat dropped their game against the Golden State Warriors 97-95 on a layup by Draymond Green with 0.9 seconds remaining. The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Orlando Magic 86-80 thanks to 16 points by Josh Smith and Jeff Teague. Guard Arron Afflalo scored 16 points for the Magic but it wasn't enough.

The Charlotte Bobcats fell to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, 100-94. Center Byron Mullins scored 19 points and eight rebounds. Three Clippers players all scored 19 points to help the Clippers win game No. 16 of the season.
