The Washington Wizards continue to have no answers as on Wednesday night they lost their eighth-straight game, 87-84, to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Forward Emeka Okafor and guard Jordan Crawford led the Wizards with 17 points each. Nene added 16 and forward Martell Webster added 12. Both Okafor and Webster grabbed 10 rebounds to record double-doubles.

Despite shooting better than the Cavaliers from the field, 46 percent to 38 percent, and out-rebounding them by 13, the Wizards committed 20 turnovers to the Cavaliers' 10. The Wizards hope to get back on the winning side on Friday night when they host the Orlando Magic.

As for other Southeast division teams, the Miami Heat won both Tuesday and Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Charlotte Bobcats, respectively, The Bobcats saw their losing streak extend to 16 games with their 105-92 loss to Miami. The Magic lost on Wednesday to the New Orleans Hornets, 97-94, and the Hawks won on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons, 126-119, in overtime.
