The Washington Wizards won their fourth game in 27 tries at home Friday night against the Orlando Magic, 105-97, stopping their second losing streak of eight games or more this season. They have a quick turnaround, flying to Chicago for a game against the tough-as-nails Bulls on Saturday night. If the Wizards manage to win, it would be the first time this season they have won consecutive games.
The Bulls (15-12) will be trying to recover from their last game, an embarrassing, 120-97 blowout at the hands of the Houston Rockets. Their biggest weakness, aside from missing Derrick Rose, is the enormous amount of minutes their two best players, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah, play. Deng is No. 1 and Noah is No. 3 in minutes per game, so they should feel like spring chickens after three straight off days.
The Wizards got great performances in their win over the Magic from Nene (23 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists) and Jordan Crawford off the bench (27-6-6), and they'll need more of the same if they want to beat the Bulls.
Game Date/Time: Saturday, Dec. 29, 8 p.m. ET
Location: United Center, Chicago, Ill.
TV: Comcast SportsNet
