Jordan Crawford, fresh off scoring a season-high 27 points on Friday night, will miss Saturday's contest against the Chicago Bulls due to a sore left ankle.

The Washington Wizards will be without some much-needed offensive output on Saturday night, as guard Jordan Crawford will miss the team's game against the Chicago Bulls. Via the team's official twitter feed:

Crawford, coming off the bench for a second straight game, scored a season-high 27 points on 11 of 16 shooting in Friday night's win over the Orlando Magic. The victory snapped a eight-game losing streak for Washington (4-23). In the last six games, Crawford has averaged 21.8 points per game, almost six points better than his team-leading average.

With John Wall injured, Crawford has been asked to do a bit more by head coach Randy Wittman this season, and despite the occasional lapses on the course, has played well for Washington. In addition to scoring 16 points per game, Crawford is averaging 4.7 assists per game and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Washington is 1-12 on the road this year, though they did nab a victory last time they played in Chicago, in April of 2012. That win snapped a seven-game Wizards losing streak in the series.
