The Washington Wizards split a pair of games this past weekend, picking up their fourth win of the season on Friday night before losing on Saturday.

The Wizards knocked off the Orlando Magic, 150-97, on Sunday behind a game-high 27 points from Jordan Crawford. Nene added 23 pints and 11 rebounds.

A night after improving to 4-23, the Wizards lost once again, falling, 87-77, to the Chicago Bulls. Bradley Beal's 14 points led Washington in the losing effort. Emeka Okafor recorded a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Elsewhere in the league, this weekend saw the Los Angeles Clippers continue their unbeaten run through December with home-and-home victories over the Utah Jazz. Los Angeles now owns the best record in the league at 25-6 after winning 17 straight games.

The leaders of the Eastern Conference struggled over the weekend, with the Miami Heat dropping back-to-back road games to the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks while the New York Knicks were knocked off by the Sacramento Kings in their only game of the weekend.

Monday's New Year's Eve schedule is abbreviated with just six games on the slate. The Wizards are back in action on New Year's Day, hosting the Dallas Mavericks at 6 p.m. ET.
